DUCIRA ® gel is a long-acting eye gel that lubricates the eye’s surface for patients with ocular discomfort caused by dry eye.
NOTE: You should discuss the potential risks and benefits of all the eye drops with your doctor. Zivira products are prescription-based and are used to treat symptoms of dry eye. Consult your doctor for advice on using DUCIRA ® gel. Your doctor will decide the dosage of DUCIRA ® gel depending on your age, body weight, and severity of your condition.

Indication / Uses :It is indicated to be a substitute for tear fluid to improve dry eye and manage an unstable tear film.

Dosage / Application :Adults and elderly: Place one drop in each eye (avoid touching eye with container tip) and blink several times.Ducira Gel may be used by contact lens wearers (soft or hard), but lenses are recommended to be removed prior to instillation.Pediatric use: studies in children have not been performed.

Overdosage :No cases of overdosage have been reported.

Storage & Handling:Use within one month of opening the tube. Replace the cap immediately after use—store below 30º C.
- For external use only. Not for injection.
- Do not use it if the tube is damaged, broken, or open.
- If you experience persistent discomfort or irritation, stop using the product and consult your eye care professional.
- DUCIRA® gel should not be used during surgery.
- Consult your eye care professional before changing medication and before using any eye medication with contact lenses.
- Never touch the dropper of the tube to any surface, including the eyes, as this may contaminate the product.
NOTE: Call your doctor or get medical care immediately if you develop any of the above adverse effects.
The associated risks and benefits of using DUCIRA® gel in pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers are unclear. However, no preventive measures are advised for using DUCIRA® products in pregnant women. Consult your doctor for advice.
