FOMIRA ® is a lubricant eye drop that protect the eyes from the discomfort associated with dry eyes so that they feel moist and refreshed for a long period. It combines with natural tears and forms a protective layer over the eye surface, thereby promoting the repair of the damaged eye surface cells.

NOTE: You should discuss the potential risks and benefits of all the eye drops with your doctor. Zivira products are prescription-based and are used to treat symptoms of dry eye. Consult your doctor for advice on using FOMIRA ® . Your doctor will decide the dosage of FOMIRA ® depending on your age, body weight, and severity of your condition.

  • Composition :
    Polyethylene glycol 400 USP-NF 0.4% and propylene glycol IP 0.3%
  • Presentation :
    Fomira (10 ml)
  • Indication / Uses :
    Used as a lubricant to temporarily relieve burning and irritation due to dryness of the eye.
  • Dosage / Application :
    1 to 2 drops are given 4 times daily in the affected eye(s) or as directed by the physician.
  • Storage & Handling:
    Store below 30°C. Protect from light & moisture. Do not freeze.
Generally well tolerated. FOMIRA ® eye drops should not be used if an allergic condition occurs to any product ingredients.
  • Never touch the tip of the container with any surface to avoid contamination & replace the cap after each use.
  • Keep out of reach of children.

NOTE: Call your doctor or get medical care immediately if you develop any side effects.

The associated risks and benefits of using FOMIRA ® in pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers are unclear. However, no preventive measures are advised for using FOMIRA ® products in pregnant women. Consult your doctor for advice.
